Why we built it
Shipping a mobile app is the easy half. The hard half is everything that follows: getting a link to open the right screen instead of a browser tab, knowing which campaign actually produced an install, keeping two very different app stores fed with screenshots and descriptions, and noticing when a one-star review is describing a real bug.
Most teams solve that with five or six separate tools — a deep-link service, an attribution SDK, a screenshot designer, an ASO tool, a review monitor, a crash reporter. Each one has its own subscription, its own dashboard and its own idea of what an "app" is. For a solo developer or a three-person studio, the bill and the context-switching cost more than the problem.
SmartLinks - Smart App Links & Analytics exists because that whole chain belongs in one place, at a price a small team can actually pay.
What the platform does
Links and attribution
Deep links, universal links and deferred links that survive the trip through the App Store and Google Play, so someone who taps a link to a specific product still lands on that product after installing. Every link carries campaign data through the install, which is what turns "we got 400 downloads" into "we got 400 downloads and 312 of them came from this post".
Store presence
A screenshot editor that composes store-ready images from your own app UI, renders them at every size Apple and Google require, and uploads them straight to App Store Connect and the Play Console. Alongside it, ASO tooling for titles, subtitles, keywords and descriptions, with the store's own character limits enforced as you write.
Listening to users
Reviews from both stores, in-app feedback and crash reports collected in one triage board. Anything that needs work becomes a ticket with a severity, an owner, the version it was reported on and the version that fixed it — so "was this fixed in a build the reporter actually had?" is a question you can answer.
Understanding what happened
Installs, clicks, retention and revenue for each app, with the time ranges and comparisons you need to tell a good week from a lucky day.
Who it is for
Independent developers, small studios and agencies running a handful of apps rather than one enormous one. If you have ever kept your screenshot sizes in a spreadsheet, pasted a keyword list into a notes app, or found out about a crash from a review, this was built with you in mind.
How we work
We build the tools we use ourselves. Every feature on the platform started as something we needed for our own apps, which is why the product is opinionated in places — it reflects real workflows rather than a feature checklist.
We are deliberate about data. Analytics are aggregated, credentials are encrypted at rest, and platform tokens are only ever used for the actions you explicitly ask for. The details are in our privacy policy and terms of service.
Talk to us
We read everything that comes in. Questions about the product, a bug you have hit, a feature you need, or a partnership idea — the contact page is the fastest route to a human.
