1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, connect social media profiles, or use our services.

Account activity, device and location

When you sign up, sign in and use the SmartLinks dashboard, we automatically record:

• Sign-up details: the date, IP address, approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address by our network provider, Cloudflare), browser and device, the page you first arrived on, the website that referred you, any campaign (UTM) tags in that link, and the public pages you viewed before creating your account.
• Sign-ins: successful and failed sign-ins, sign-outs and password resets, each with IP address, approximate location and device.
• Dashboard use: the pages you open and the actions you take, such as creating an app or changing a setting. We record which action was used, not the content you type.

Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.

Google user data

When you connect YouTube or a Google account to the social-publishing features, we access specific information through Google API Services.

• Data accessed: Google account email, basic profile information, and YouTube channel data including video metadata and channel details.
• Scopes used: youtube.upload, youtube.readonly, and youtube.force-ssl to manage and publish content on your behalf.

2. How we use information

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve SmartLinks, including:

• Scheduling and publishing content to platforms you explicitly connect.
• Managing social account metadata required for publishing.
• Communicating important account or service updates.
• Keeping accounts secure and preventing abuse, for example spotting sign-ins from unusual places or repeated failed passwords.
• Supporting you and understanding how SmartLinks is used, so we can fix problems and improve the product.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share connected-platform data with the platforms you explicitly connect, through their official APIs, to perform actions you request.

Claude and ChatGPT connections

If you connect SmartLinks to Claude or ChatGPT, SmartLinks receives the tool requests you make through that assistant. To answer those requests, SmartLinks may return the selected account and app information, analytics, campaign and review data, and connected-platform information to the assistant provider. This may include personal information contained in the records you ask the assistant to access. The assistant provider processes that information under its own privacy policy and your settings with that provider.

When you ask the assistant to create or change something, SmartLinks stores the resulting records as part of your account. Disconnecting the assistant stops new requests; it does not automatically delete existing account records. We do not include connected-platform access tokens or passwords in assistant tool responses.

4. Storage and protection

We use industry-standard safeguards for data in transit and encrypt supported access tokens at rest. Access is limited to the systems needed to provide the service.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain information, including records created through an assistant connection, while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time by disconnecting an integration, using the data-deletion form, or emailing support@smartlinks.live. To remove information already held by Claude or ChatGPT, use that provider's data controls.

Dashboard page views and actions are kept for 90 days and sign-in history for one year, then deleted automatically. Sign-up details are kept with your account and deleted with it.

Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days unless a longer retention period is legally required.
