Competitors and keyword research

Research a specific market, track competing apps and turn observations into product or store-listing work.

Before you start

Competitors requires a paid plan and appropriate team permission. Market and tracked-app limits are plan-specific.

Step by step

  1. Open Competitors and add or choose the market you want to watch.
  2. Use the market's Refresh action and wait for collection to finish.
  3. In discovery, search for competitors or request suggestions. Review relevance before tracking an app; ignore unrelated suggestions.
  4. Inspect the available overview, keywords and review sections for that market.
  5. Track useful keywords. Send an appropriate keyword to ASO, then review it in the ASO workflow before generating copy.
  6. Fetch competitor reviews where available and inspect the source material. Use translation to help comprehension, not to change the source meaning.
  7. Generate the available insights and open an actionable one as a Concern. Add evidence and acceptance criteria.
  8. Untrack a competitor only when it should leave your watchlist; check that you are in the right market.

Confirm it worked

Your intended market and tracked apps persist, refreshed data has a current result, and any handed-off keyword or concern appears in its destination feature.

Troubleshooting

Suggestions and AI insights can be wrong or incomplete. Review actual store evidence before claiming a competitor lacks a feature. Empty results may reflect source limits, collection failures or the selected market.
