Teams and permissions

Teams shares selected apps with collaborators and controls their access to features.

Before you start

Use an account allowed to manage the team and check team-seat availability. Confirm the recipient's email address before inviting them.

Step by step

  1. Open Teams from the workspace management navigation.
  2. Create or select the intended team.
  3. Open its invite screen, enter Recipient email and choose the appropriate role.
  4. Review Tab permissions. Grant only the features needed; a member does not automatically need administrative or key-management access.
  5. Add an optional note and select Send Invitation.
  6. Have the recipient accept the invitation using the intended account.
  7. On the team page, select the intended apps and use Share App or Share … Apps.
  8. Verify the member can open the shared app and required feature, and cannot access unrelated apps.

Confirm it worked

The invitation is accepted, the intended app is shared, and the role's actual access matches the task. Sending an invitation alone does not establish active membership.

Troubleshooting

Check the workspace, accepted invitation, shared-app assignment and tab permissions if an app is missing. Removing a member, cancelling an invitation and unassigning an app have different effects; choose the intended action carefully.
