1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how alkashier ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Commitly mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and to complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and the requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

Information you enter into the App is processed to provide the App's features. Where the App stores this information on your device, it remains on your device unless you choose to use a feature that transmits it (for example, contacting support, or an optional backup or sync feature).

If you contact us for support, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, which we use solely to respond to you.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Device and technical data: device model, operating system version, app version, language and region settings, and approximate (coarse) location inferred from your IP address.
• Advertising identifiers: your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address and ad interaction data, collected by our advertising partners as described in Section 5.
• Diagnostic data: crash reports and aggregated usage statistics, where enabled, used to detect faults and improve stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate and maintain the features of the App.
• To diagnose faults, monitor stability and improve performance.
• To display advertising, including personalised advertising where you have given consent.
• To respond to your support requests and other enquiries.
• To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

• Consent: for personalised advertising and any optional analytics, where required in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.
• Legitimate interests: for security, fraud prevention, and maintaining and improving the App.
• Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We may disclose or share your data in the following limited circumstances:

• Advertising partners: as described in the Advertising section below.
• Service providers: vetted providers such as cloud hosting, analytics and infrastructure, bound by contractual confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and regulatory compliance: where required by law, subpoena or government order, or to protect our legal rights, property or safety.
• Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, restructuring or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

Advertising and Third-Party Advertising Partners

This app displays advertising served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its certified partners may collect and process your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address, approximate location, and ad interaction data.

Where required in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any personalised advertising is shown, using Google's IAB TCF-certified consent form. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the privacy options in the app's settings.

You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy & security → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google's advertising partners.

Because we display personalised advertising, our sharing of advertising identifiers with advertising partners may constitute a "sale" or "share" for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). You may opt out at any time by declining personalised advertising in the app's privacy options, or by limiting ad tracking in your device settings.

7. Data Storage, Security and Retention

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration and loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

8. Data Deletion Requests and Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time via our data deletion page or by emailing apps@alkashier.com.

Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. As described in the Advertising section, our sharing of advertising identifiers with advertising partners may constitute a "sale" or "share" for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. You may opt out at any time from the App's privacy options or by limiting ad tracking in your device settings. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
