Trump Media & Technology Group said Friday that it was exploring a spin-off of Truth Social, the social media platform of choice for President Donald Trump.
Trump Media said in a press release that it was considering separating Truth Social into a separate, publicly traded company following the closing of its merger with TAE Technologies.
Shares of Trump Media rose more than 1% in premarket trading on Friday. The stock trades under the ticker DJT, which is also President Trump's initials.
