Terms of Service — QR Scanner Pro

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the QR Scanner Pro app (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1) The App

The App lets you:

• Scan QR codes and barcodes
• Generate QR codes
• Save a local history of scans/generations
• Use optional Premium features and/or view ads (depending on your plan and availability)

2) No medical, legal, or safety guarantees

Scan results may contain links or content created by third parties. You are responsible for how you use scanned content. The App does not guarantee that scanned content is safe, accurate, or free from malware.

3) Your content and local history

• The App may store scan/generation history locally on your device.
• You can delete history items or clear history from within the App.

4) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the App
• Interfere with the App’s normal operation (including ad or purchase flows)

5) Ads and purchases

• The free version may show ads (banner, interstitial, rewarded) where supported.
• The App may offer in‑app purchases (Premium) and restore purchases where supported.
• Purchases are handled by the app store provider (e.g., Apple App Store / Google Play). Billing, refunds, and subscription management are subject to the store’s terms and policies.
• Rewarded ads may grant temporary benefits (e.g., ad‑free time) as described in the App UI.

6) Third‑party services

The App may use third‑party services (e.g., ads, analytics, crash reporting). Your use of the App may be subject to those services’ terms. See PRIVACY_POLICY.md for more details.

7) Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.

8) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE APP’S DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9) Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App and/or these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide the updated Terms with the app distribution or on a hosted page.
