Image Lab
Effective Date: August 27, 2026
Image Lab ("we", "us", "our") is dedicated to protecting the privacy of our users ("user", "you"). This Privacy Policy outlines our practices concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of your information via our application, Image Lab.
Image Lab does not have user accounts and does not ask you to register or sign in. We do not collect your name, email address, or contact details through the app. If you choose to email our support address, we receive whatever you put in that message and use it only to answer you.
We automatically collect information on how you use the app, including your app interactions, IP address, device information, and operating system.
Image Lab is a native mobile app and does not use browser cookies. Our advertising and analytics SDKs use device and advertising identifiers as described under "Advertising and Third-Party Advertising Partners" below.
All photo editing in Image Lab happens entirely on your device. Photos you open in the app are not uploaded to us and are not sent to any third party, including any third-party or cloud AI service. The app contains no image-upload capability. Edited images are saved only where you choose to save them on your device or share them yourself.
The "Blur Face" feature uses Google ML Kit Face Detection and Google ML Kit Selfie Segmentation. Both run entirely on your device.
These features locate the position of faces within a photo you have selected, so that the app can blur those areas. The only face-related information produced is the on-screen coordinates of the detected face regions, held in memory for the duration of that single editing operation.
Image Lab does not create, derive, or store face templates, faceprints, biometric identifiers, or any data capable of identifying a person from their face. Face region data is used only to complete the blur you requested, is never written to disk, and is discarded as soon as the operation finishes.
Face data is never transmitted off your device. It is not sent to us, is not shared with any third party, is not used for advertising, analytics, or model training, and is not retained after the editing operation completes.
We use the data we collect to operate, maintain, and enhance our services, understand and analyze usage trends, and communicate with you.
We do not share your personal data with third parties except as necessary to provide our services, comply with the law, and protect our rights and safety.
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access, correct, update, and delete your personal data. You can object to the processing of your personal data and request data portability.
California residents have the right to request access to their personal data, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information.
If you want to request the deletion of your data, please visit our Data Deletion Request page at Data Deletion Instructions or contact us at support@alkashier.com.
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
This app displays advertising served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its certified partners may collect and process your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address, approximate location, and ad interaction data.
Where required in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any personalised advertising is shown, using Google's IAB TCF-certified consent form. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the privacy options in the app's settings.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy & security → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google's advertising partners.
Because we display personalised advertising, our sharing of advertising identifiers with advertising partners may constitute a "sale" or "share" for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). You may opt out at any time by declining personalised advertising in the app's privacy options, or by limiting ad tracking in your device settings.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at support@alkashier.com or by mail at Image Lab, Cairo, Egypt.
