Alkashier (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the AI Smart Cleaner mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account and purchase data: If you subscribe to premium features, we receive transaction and subscription status data from the app store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play) and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We do not store payment card details; those are handled by the stores.
- App preferences: Settings you choose in the App (e.g., reminders, sounds, language) are stored locally on your device.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage and analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data, including:
- Session length and frequency
- Features used (e.g., scans, smart clean, categories opened)
- General interaction events (e.g., paywall views, ad interactions)
- Crash and performance data: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, stack traces, and related diagnostic information to improve stability and fix bugs.
- Device information: We may collect device type, OS version, and similar technical data via analytics and crash reporting. We use device_info_plus for app functionality and troubleshooting.
1.3 Information Processed on Your Device (Not Sent to Us)
- Photo and video library: The App accesses your device’s photo and video library to scan, categorize, find duplicates, and suggest items for deletion. Media content and metadata are processed locally using on-device ML models (TensorFlow Lite, Google ML Kit) and are not uploaded to our servers.
- Vault and protected media: Photos you add to the Vault are stored locally on your device. Biometric data (fingerprint, face) is used only for device unlock and is managed by your operating system; we do not receive or store it.
- Local database: Scan results, categories, deletion history, and similar data are stored in a local database (Isar) on your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features
- Understand how the App is used and optimize the experience
- Debug crashes and improve reliability
- Process and manage premium subscriptions (via app stores and RevenueCat)
- Serve and measure ads (see Section 4)
- Comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms
We do not use your photo or video content for advertising or sell your personal data to third parties.

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect or process data:

4. Advertising
We use Google Mobile Ads to show ads (banner, interstitial, rewarded). AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to personalize and measure ads. You can manage ad preferences and opt out of personalized ads via your device settings (e.g., “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS, “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android) and Google’s ad settings.
5. Data Retention and Storage
- Analytics and crash data: Retained according to Firebase and Google policies (typically up to 14 months for Analytics; crash data as configured).
- Subscription data: Retained as long as needed to support your subscription and comply with legal obligations.
- On-device data: Stored on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. We do not retain copies of your media or local database on our servers.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data transmitted to our service providers (e.g., HTTPS). Your photos, videos, and vault content are processed and stored locally on your device; we recommend using device lock and biometrics to protect access.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access and portability of your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data
- Restriction or objection to certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
